IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CHURCH
For many years major church repairs (roof leaks, inadequate air-conditioning, broken pews, etc.) have been deferred in anticipation of a total renovation of the church. Additionally, due to growing mass attendance (what a great problem to have!) more seating is needed.
Therefore, some of the highlights of the church project are:- The addition of a large narthex (church entrance) on east side of the sanctuary
- New pews
- New flooring
- State of the art lighting and sound
- Additions to our liturgical art and fixtures (e.g., Altar Crucifix and Baptismal Font)
IMPROVEMENTS TO THE SCHOOL
Along with the recent growth in our parish, our school, which includes grades Pre-K3 through 8th, has experienced a significant increase in enrollment. Beginning in 2015, temporary buildings have been needed to provide the required classroom space. To accommodate and foster the growth of the school, the Capital Campaign will fund the construction of a two-story building that will also house:- Sixteen classrooms
- A science lab
- A sacred space for worship and prayer
- Administrative offices

STATUS OF THE CAMPAIGN- Our current fundraising remains at $10.9M in pledges of which $7.6M has been collected towards our original goal of $12.1M.
- Last fall, with the approval of the Archdiocese, St. Theresa obtained a $4.5M line of credit for interim construction loan and a permanent loan if needed. While this line of credit gives the ability to move forward with construction, fundraising will continue. Ultimately, we hope to meet our goal and avoid taking on long-term debt.
If you are new to the parish or have been waiting to make your gift, please consider setting up a campaign pledge. To date, over 760 individuals and families have participated in the campaign—that is approximate 35 % of individuals and families that call St. Theresa their parish home. To reach our goal we still need the participation of everyone who is able to make a gift to the campaign.
A pledge can be paid over a three-year period for any amount (see chart above).
