My name is Alyssa Bourquein-Prosser. I graduated from Texas A&M (WHOOP!) in 2017 majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis on English Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies. This past July my husband and I celebrated two years of marriage and just moved all the way from McKinney! I grew up in Beaumont, Texas with my parents and six siblings. My husband and I love to travel, spend time with our aussiedoodles Olsen and Sully, ride horses and fish at our family ranch, and especially go to Fightin' Texas Aggie Football games. A fun fact about me is that I'm the youngest set of three sets of twins in my immediate family!
This will be my 4th year in education and my 1st year teaching at St. Theresa. I am excited to get to be apart of what it means to learn and teach as apart of the St. Theresa family. I became a teacher because I had a special handful of them throughout my life that grately impacted me. They inspired, encouraged, and supported me in the decision to become an educator throughout my years at Legacy Christian Academy. Whether it be showing up at my sporting events, spending the extra time to tutor me, or needed words of encouragement, these teachers changed my life and it is my desire to love my students the same way my many mentors loved and supported me. I believe that this year will be an amazing year and I'm so excited to see what it has store for me and my kiddos! Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions, concerns, or anything in between! Once again, I am so thrilled to be apart of such a great community!
