I received my B.A. in Psychology, with a minor in Spanish Literature, from Smith College.
I am originally from Houston. I went away to college in Massachusetts. After graduation, I joined the Peace Corps and worked as a Rural Health Extension volunteer in Paraguay for two years. I met my husband there. We returned to Houston after my Peace Corps service to be close to my family. I worked in social services briefly before I decided to follow my calling to teach.
After 12 years of teaching in public school, I was blessed to make the move to a Catholic school two years ago. I truly love watching students learn and grow, and helping them become responsible and caring individuals who share God’s love with others. I am so excited to be a member of the St. Theresa family!
