I am so excited to be able to join this wonderful community! I am originally from Michigan where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in communication disorders from Central Michigan University. After college, I moved to Houston where I have worked in various helping roles including as a speech language pathologist-assistant, social skills coach, and professional educator. I felt a calling to do more, so I got my Masters in Social Work from University of Houston in 2022. I have been part of the mental health community in non-profits, hospitals, and most recently at a school as a lead therapeutic coach. In my free time, I love to explore with my daughter and husband, whether that's a new park, theater, or restaurant.
I am passionate about using a collaborative, child-centered approach to empower students and their families to attain their goals. I'm grateful to join the St. Theresa community where I'm privileged to connect, support, and share joy with many students every day!
