Spanish Class
Hola! My name is Hildy Calderón and I am thrilled to be part of St. Theresa school community. I graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown with a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish and Minor and Communications. I am originally from Bogotá, Colombia, and came to the U.S when I was in intermediate school. I love to travel and spend time with family as much as I can.

I am looking forward to an exciting year and it is my goal to give students a foundation for exploring and understanding Spanish-speaking cultures and their people. Through completing interactive activities, students will employ critical thinking skills as they compare the Spanish language and its cultures with those of their own community. They will also connect to other academic subjects, such as math, science, world history and language arts using their knowledge of Spanish to access new information.

Yearbook Class:
Yearbook is a hands-on course where the students and teacher work closely together to produce St Theresa school’s annual book. Journalism writing techniques and other basics will be covered during the first weeks of school. Students will learn many aspects of publication production as the yearbook is designed and produced.
