Dr. Kirstie Carmichael

I have recently moved to Houston from San Antonio, and am very excited to be joining the wonderful community at St. Theresa School.  I am a Licensed Master Social Worker and my background is in mental health. I have worked in mental health hospitals, detention centers, and homeless shelters for teens in the San Antonio area. I am an adjunct professor at Our Lady of the Lake University in the Social Work program and enjoy developing the next generation of Social Workers. I am currently getting my Doctorate in Behavioral Health at Arizona State University. I hope to bring my experience to St. Theresa to encourage and support every student in achieving their full academic potential.
