It is with great joy and fulfillment that I begin my tenth year as Principal of St. Theresa Catholic School. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Academic Studies, as well as a Masters in Educational Administration. I bring over 20 years of successful teaching and leadership experience to my position as a principal.
I have a passionate dedication toward the cultivation of a positive and inclusive school community that is focused on Faith, Service and Knowledge. At St. Theresa Catholic School it is our mission to help each student deepen their personal relationship with Christ; instill an intrinsic commitment to serving others; and impart the knowledge and experiences neccessary for our students to become wise and conscientious leaders of tomorrow!
I believe we achieve this by empowering our teachers to teach outside the box and differentiate their instruction to meet the needs, interests and ability levels of all our students. I believe we do this by utilizing the power of our parents! We create more meaningful learning experiences, when we fully utilize the collaborative efforts of all school constituents, including: parents, students, staff, parishioners and neighborhood community members. Finally, I believe we do this by being a Family and supporting each other in the monumental task of being Christ-bearers to all we encounter. We are called to let the light of Christ shine within us and through us in all that we do and say, modeling the way for our children. It is not good enough to simply get them through Graduation Day; we must successfully get them through Judgment Day!!
I thoroughly enjoy my role as an administrator and I strive to instill that joy in all the teachers, students and parents of St. Theresa Catholic School.
