I started my education at Holy Ghost Catholic School 1
st Grade- 8
th Grade. After Holy Ghost, I was educated at St. Thomas High School. Throughout Elementary and High School, sports were very important to me. I was very active playing everything that was available. In High School, I focused on Soccer as I played all four years. Following my graduation from STH, I then traveled to San Marcos where I studied at Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State). I spent 5 years pursuing a degree in Exercise Sports Science. While I studied I wanted to be around athletics. I worked at the Athletic Academic Center. There I helped mentor the freshmen and sophomore athletes. During my years at SWT, I was fortunate to do a “block semester” at San Marcos High School and my Student Teach at New Braunfels High School where I helped teach and Coach PE and Football. I graduated from Southwest Texas in May 2003 with a Bachelor Degree in Exercise Sports Science. After college I worked as a substitute teacher in the Spring Branch District while I looked for my long term home. I was excited when the opportunity came to teach 5
th grade and Coach at St. Theresa in January 2004. I have taught 5
th grade and PE for various grades ever since, and I cherish all the experiences and students that I have met along the way. I became Director of Athletics in 2008 and have coached or help coach almost all the sports throughout my time at St. Theresa. I love working with the student athletes helping them achieve all they can.
