Early Childhood Paraprofessional/Substitute Teachertara.underwoodsttheresa.ccMy Husband (Thomas) and I were both born and raised in Oklahoma and attended the University of Oklahoma where I was a Cheerleader, BOOMER SOONER!! I started college heading in the direction of Secondary Math Education, and towards the end switched my major to Fashion Marketing and Design. (My parents were less then pleased with my decision to go to school a little longer.)
My Husband and I both moved to Houston over 20 years ago to pursue our careers. I followed my degree of Fashion Marketing and Design, landing my first job out of college in retail. That did not last long…. I eventually found my way back into the education world working as a personal assistant and a private tutor for over 10 years. When we started our family, I decided to stay home and raise my babies.
We have three children, Knox (13), Blythe (10), and Miller (7) all three now attend STCS and we couldn't be happier. My world revolves around my children and their activities, especially my boys and their baseball! I LOVE being a baseball mom and watching my boys do what they love. Blythe is just getting into cheerleading, and I can not wait to watch her grow and follow in my steps at OU ;) I am an out going and loyal friend, a helper, a little crafty, and I know a lot about nothing(so my friends say) and an LA Dodgers fan. I am so excited to be part of the STCS family and bring my cheerleading expertise to the program.
